I’m going to give you two ways to hit the ball off the deck. One is to hit it straight, and the other one is to hit it far.

So the first one I’m going to show you – this is the way I hit it straight – I’ll take my address position, I have the face slightly open at address, make a swing. So you can see that ball, it didn’t go far, but a win really straight.

The next way, when you want to hit a driver of the deck, you need to feel like you’re going to hit a little fade, so you’re going to swing out-to-in. So put the ball slightly forward in my stance, get my shoulders slightly open.

I’m going to put a little bit more loft on the driver, and I’m going to just swing through. That allows me to come into the ball with the face slightly more open, the ball go with a little fade, and you can see, it’s a lower trajectory.

Work on that shot, you’re going to become way more consistent. It’s a great shot to play when it’s windy. It also allows you to stay down through impact, improving your impact position.

So work on that shot. You’re gonna see a difference when you’re driving it off the deck.
