The trajectory at which you choose to hit a short-game shot will have a big impact on how it reacts on the green. Playing it back in your stance, you’ll create a lower trajectory with more spin. Conversely, putting the ball up in your stance will lead to a higher flight that hits softer and rolls gently to a stop.
