Two Keys to Fairway Bunker Shots

Here are two key tips when playing from the bunker. The first is to think solid to fat. A fat shot will clear the lip and get way down there. You wanted hit solid but if you don’t catch this solid, you want to catch it a little heavy and catch a little sand. When the lips in play, pick a club you think you can clear the lip then either hit solid or a little heavy. When the bunker lips aren’t in play, think solid to thin. A thin one will still clear that lip and will be a low-line drive.

These are two great tips to help your fairway bunker play and will take the fear out of it because you get it out every time.
